You're assuming all young people dating are having sex. Maybe they were happy on a blow up mattress. I didn't have sex until I was 21, and that was against my will. If my parents had been suggesting we sleep together upstairs that would have added to pressure that I didn't want. So, I'm not saying don't. I'm just saying, maybe have a conversation about what they actually want. I like your approach to talking about it growing up though! Excellent piece. I can see why it did well.
