You don't get penalised for reposting. I do it a lot for old articles that flopped. Delete and repost a year later. One recently did really well after I did that. It might just be that you're new. It's a real struggle to get started. I had few reads in my first month.

Also, I don't know if you own the images you're using, or have sourced them from creative commons sites, but if you're just lifting them off the web, you might want to reconsider that approach.
