Yes, it's still very complicated trying to get our heads around how it affects each article in practice. And yes, it means there is less incentive to do the deep dive on issues and produce those quality stories the CEO keeps talking about.

But then I've had long pieces earn less just because fewer people read them, so I can agree that they don't necessarily earn more. LOL. :)
