Yes, Im' sure they can tell. They can reinstate it within 2 weeks if you made a mistake. But it's within the rules to delete and republish, so it's fine. Sometimes republished stories perform worse than before. Other times they perform better than before. I've decided to only republish those that dived badly because the ones that did OK (earned $10 or more) might gain traction again and earn at a slightly higher rate when they do.
