Yes, I think you're right there. Yana Bostongirl does well writing about emotional subjects - often relationships, often with narcissists. I don't really go on her stuff and would argue that yours is much better, but she has a huge following - people like that kind of stuff. There's no accounting for taste!

I did think you could write a piece about the dilemmas you experienced when your child wanted to transition. I imagine that could get some differing points of view in the comments, and get a good debate going because it's such a modern, controversial subject, but it might not feel right to you to write about that. And maybe there wasn't a dilemma.
