Yes, I can see that's a problem. I don't do it a lot. I only do it occasionally for that reason. I don't want anyone who has hung around for the duration to get bombarded with recycled content. I did it a bit at Christmas with some of the seasonal articles, and slightly reworked a diet piece in January when people are thinking about resolutions - Mike Lewis had written something similar and earned $100s from his. I felt mine had failed to gain traction on the first attempt. It did slightly better the second time around - it's painful when you spend ages honing something and hardly anyone reads it! The vast majority of my stuff is new to Medium. Most of it is new to the world! I wonder if there should be a 'once a month' limit on such activity or something. Probably hard to police though.
