Yes, I believe this is true - but not from first hand experience, sadly. I would love to be a booster, but I really do not want to have to open up a publication and invite people to contribute, because honestly, there are possible legal implications which when I did that before, scared the shit out of me. Apparently the unprocessed applications for boost nominators run into many hundreds.
