Yes, and with the law on the side of the tenants, and very wide interpretations of what is considered normal wear and tear - alongside crazy interpretations of how long a new kitchen should last, we really feel up against it. My husband doesn't want to take them to court because of the stress and risk of losing. They did after all, take 13 years to create this mess and destroy the nearly new kitchen.

I just wish we'd insisted the agent charged them more or moved to a different agent.
