Yep, and even before I realised this, the fact that I could read unlimited stories within any publication I wrote for was a disincentive to pay for membership... because honestly, we only have so much time and being blocked out of self-published stories is no big deal when you can read three on *every browser* for free anyway - plus the twitter thing. It basically got to the point where I realised the only benefit of membership was a star and the convenience of not having to bother to circumvent the paywall. But I'm a paid up member now anyway because it's the right thing to do and I've been riding free for long enough. Then they offered 50% off gift memberships, which seemed reasonable, so I've got them to deliver mine in May.

BTW, if you tweet our stories by copying the URL, rather than using the twitter button, it doesn't circumvent the paywall.
