Yeah, that's what I meant by old timer - someone who's been there long enough to reach the top of the grade - for someone who used to move on every 2 years, 5 years is an old timer! 😂

Do the civil service have better terms? Their pay offer appears to be the worst of them all!

EDIT - just found your civil service comment. Strange that they're offering more for that job. Perhaps the PIP Assessors are considered more senior or something.
