Yeah, it's tricky to know how I'm perceived in NWW. I've had five stories boosted in total since the scheme began, so am no way in the big leagues.

I know another writer with about 300 followers who has not been around long and has had 12 stories boosted. I'm certain I've written at least as many good quality stories as she has, but they've not been picked up.

I don't know whether the fact that I've been around for over 2 years and have 5.7k followers goes against me. I plan experimenting with different publications because I think that might help.

One guy who does UK history has had 28 boosts. But last time I put history on here, I lost my exclusivity on the content because they got plagiarised.

I like to stay in control if I can, in case I spot an opportunity to sell a piece to a magazine, so it's tricky with some evergreen stories, whether to take that risk.
