Where are you based? To be honest, I don't tend to write about politics or culture professionally - just political opinion pieces on Medium occasionally.

I'd probably tend to pitch politics to newspapers if I wanted to give it a go. I have been known to pitch to the Guardian Opinions occasionally to no avail.

For culture - it depends on what aspect you're covering. There are a lot of art magazines around if you have insight to a particular exhibition or artist. Elephant Mag springs to mind. https://elephant.art/

And Yes magazine covers all sorts of politics, society and culture issues. They are worth a look. https://www.yesmagazine.org/
