Medium does give some feedback - thousands of stories are published every day, so yes, it's hard to get noticed. Reading the Medium Blog and CEO posts help you understand what’s going on a bit better.
It might help to publish in more publications. They help build a sense of community too.
Yes, Medium stories might do better. We like to hear other people’s thoughts on the platform, and no they won’t ban you for expressing those thoughts. But it’s usually other topics that actually go viral and earn a bit more than a fiver.
The management also read the posts about Medium to get feedback for improvements.
