Well said. Just starting a discussion. I agree with you and am not the least bit entitled. I'm not sure how Vocal manage to pay people, so there's a model somehow that might work, but maybe it's not sustainable. I just thought it might be an interesting topic - and that's what Medium is all about. When people see that their best performing article has earnt so little, some people relate.

I'm used to being paid to write, but yes, I'm aware of the irony and that I should perhaps upgrade. I spend too much time on here already, so am resisting, but probably not forever. :-) Thanks for commenting.
