Well, it enhances the rate, but it’s possible that if you clap no one it won’t result in anyone receiving less than they would if you clapped everyone. Ultimately, your personal pot can only be split so many ways, whether you clap or not. If it hurts you to clap, I wouldn’t let a change to the system force you to change your habits.
