Well explained. As someone who's been on the borderline, and confounded assessors who simply couldn't call it with any degree of confidence either way, I find it quite difficult to read some of the 'them vs us' stuff that places people like me in a category where it's assumed that we can't possibly understand and are part of the problem of a neurotypical society. But then again, I can understand why there's a need for it. Sometimes though, it feels divisive. Or perhaps that's just the content of what I'm reading - not the word itself - and a reflection of my personal sensitivities.
