We haven't had covid because we've been isolating. My husband has lung damage, and we never had enough confidence in the vaccines to just go out and get covid, like everyone else has.
If I'd known what I know now I'd have probably not had the jab, because I doubt we've even been in contact with covid.
It's all very well for authorities to say the jab is better than the virus, but we're not *all* going out and getting infected. Some of us are still avoiding everyone. And it's clearly not as infectious as we were led to believe at times.
That said, my husband has hospital appointments and we cannot cut ourselves off completely, or forever, so the vaccine seems like a good idea in principle... and the first two AZ ones were absolutely fine.
They're not doing under 50s now, so thankfully I don't have to make a decision about whether to step up.
