Very pleased to hear this makes it harder for stories to be scraped because I was one of the writers whose stories were scraped then appeared on 3 Nigerian websites. That really pissed me off.

I think the longer previews are enough. It's what other sites are doing.

I'm pleased the move is resulting in more sign ups, too. I wonder whether this means non-members have to join if they want to read within publications they write for now? I feel this is a loophole that should be closed (if not already closed) as it's a disincentive to join Medium.
