Very interesting background to some writers. I didn't know these interesting facts. I'm sure there are many writers without degrees. I think before everyone got degrees, reporters used to learn their craft at the local paper and work their way up to the nationals, etc. But by the time I was wanting to apply for the same, the message was 'go and get a degree then come back and try again'.
