Very good! I've been a freelance writer longer than any of my 'proper' jobs too. I jumped from one career to another, trying to find my place, when I think in my heart, I knew writing was for me, but it wasn't allowed when I lived with my parents. 'Proper job' was the only way to go. By the time you have the finance and security to move out, it's hard to quit and be a writer, because of things like mortgages. Anyway, I'm glad you made it eventually. I've never regretted my decision.
