Unfortunately, I had too much faith in ear plugs and have a problem with my ears despite wearing them at a rock concert. I wish I'd done things differently, but now I have to live with it. So they definitely have their limits. I wrote about it but can't immediately find the article. I'll have a look at Brenda's.
