Totally agree. One of the other things they took out of a different article was 'Most importantly,' - no it wasn't critical to the meaning of the sentence. But it was there for a reason. It was there to make a point, that the next phrase was the single most important thing. They just deleted it, because software suggested it. I couldn't be bothered to argue, but it's annoying. It wasn't wrong. They shouldn't be deleting stuff that isn't wrong.
