Totally agree. I hated it before the pandemic and would always do a little wave instead, but there's this awful woman in my extended family, who always insists on shaking hands. Even when I've just washed my hands before eating, she insists on a handshake, so I have to go and wash them again. Personally, I didn't even like touching gates and door handles before the pandemic, and would always push things open with my arm or back if possible.
