To be fair, you can do the something similar for comments on stories if you've identified a network of R4R enthusiasts. My comments are all over the place and well below some writers on here. I try not to think it matters too much, as I often think it's just that I don't have the same amount of reading time available as some retired people. I'll take what I can get. It doesn't always seem to affect earnings that much - not when the people with 40 comments on every story are attracting the same R4R folk on every story, anyway. That's what I can gather from limited exchanges of perspectives on the topic, anyway.
