This is why I closed my own publication, Britain and Ireland. As soon as I realised that having argued with everyone to use CC images, that even those weren't watertight (and there were actual lawsuits taking place - not a hypothetical risk) I just spent far too much time worrying about it. Hugely stressful. I couldn't accept other people's risk anymore. It had to go. If I choose to use a CC image now, it's my risk and I accept responsibility for that. But mostly, I use my own.
