This is really interesting, because my husband and I are in this situation right now. He's been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but it's a slow growing variety, that often just sits there and doesn't do anything. Many men never know they had it and die from something else, say the doctors. So they're monitoring him. Meanwhile, we've been on a 90% raw vegan diet trying to get the PSA down, and it's working - the ultimate goal is to shrink the tumour without medical intervention, and because it's slow growing we have time to experiment. So far, it's working. His PSA is falling. The MRI in October will tell whether the tumour has shrunk though. We suspect that might be optimistic, but we remain optimistic anyway.
