They're very fashionable. I don't think people realise how unhealthy they are. They're bad for the health of those people around them too, when it's all coming out of the chimneys. Sorry to hear it's a problem where you are. There are a lot round here too. Not usually noticeable, but we occasionally get blasted if the wind's blowing the wrong way.
