They tend to pay low, but not terrible. I did a piece for the C0E Newspaper, which I think paid £50, but it was similar to something I'd done for a secular magazine about stress management, so it wasn't a lot of work to put a God angle on it, rewrite parts of it, and find it a new home.

I used to do a lot for Woman Alive before they were taken over by Premier. They used to pay about £100 a piece. I've not had any work since they changed hands, but it might just be that I'm running out of ideas and less connected to the church than I was.
