They are now, but the keyboard my niece borrowed from my mum, was 30 years old and perfect because I'd looked after it all that time.

It would have lasted 50+ years if she hadn't taken it into the garden and knocked it off the stand so it crashed onto tarmac. There are limits even to better quality stuff. And no lessons were learnt.

But I get it - some of the modern stuff is total shit.
