There have been problems with the detention centres being sub-standard though. Is that a problem in Australia too? It's something they're trying to fix. I think they're just struggling with the sheer numbers. When 1000 people arrive on the beaches every day wanting a place to live, and we have a housing shortage, it's inevitable that things won't always be perfect.
