There are a lot of writers who leave unrelated comments. And some popular writers aren't always authentic. Some just use measures like fake engagement to get more reads. A lot of people are fooled.

I wish Medium would clamp down on it and not allow people to clap or comment until they have been on a story for the minimum read time of 30 seconds. If they haven't been there that long, they should have no right to comment.
