The reasons for the dismissal, I think, were that the photographer couldn't demonstrate loss. So it wasn't defamatory. The blogger made a mistake. But the reaction to that was completely over the top.

But yes, it might serve as a lesson to other people who think over reacting might bring in a lot of money for them.
