That's really interesting. I did the same experiment with a boyfriend once. After a certain stage where he'd been very persistent, he'd just stopped and I'd been doing all the chasing. I just stopped. Like you. It took him 2 weeks to get in touch. I was over him by then. It was a bad relationship anyway.
