That's an interesting perspective. I've seen someone do it and actually, I didn't mind at all. I read the article in question and it was worth a repost.

But the fact that some people do mind makes me more wary. I think the tricky thing is how much to declare something is 'old' when 50% or more of it is new.

I recently reworked one piece. The second version was substantially changed, so much so, that there was virtually no duplicate content. I didn't even bother to delete the first. Nonetheless, it did repeat some information, and was based on an edited draft of the first.

Anyway, it flopped again, so I won't go there a third time. I've now deleted the original. But I also sense that occasional readers, like yourself, don't see most of my stuff.

I obviously need to be mindful of those who feel it's wrong though.
