That's a fair perspective. I was just relaying the story, and I suppose technically, she was accused of looking pregnant, but yes, I completely agree, we need to get away from thinking fat is bad. That's why I said we should all be more tolerant, and stop reinforcing stereotypes.

I've changed that sentence to "alongside derogatory remarks", as it was an attempt to explain what happened, not to demonise fat. People can decide for themselves what derogatory remarks means - because frankly, lots of other things can be hurtful too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
