Thanks Tasneem, The templates are choices you're given when you upload your manuscript to KDP. You can choose a template or upload your own cover image. Choosing a template is easier but they're quite naff! 😁 So I occasionally use them and try to find a least naff one. It's very easy to use KDP, so if you just want your book out there, it's a great way to publish. Sales are often disappointing, but the process is a breeze and the product is nice too, especially if you order paperbacks. They started doing hardback options too recently.
