Thanks for chipping in. It's really interesting to hear your views on this. I'm pretty sure my application was rejected before I heard that you'd been accepted, but you may well have applied earlier than me and just not heard back for a long time. I know some of the early birds didn't hear for months and months, and assumed they'd been rejected by the absence of an acceptance.

I have come across two editors who are fabulous and both offer feedback on how to improve my work to make it more boostable. I'm extremely grateful to them. There's one where I wonder if the piece would have been boosted without major edits, and we'll never know, but it works a lot of the time. That is the main thing. Thank you! 🙂
