Sorry you're struggling. Sounds like maybe a break would be helpful to sort out all those other things that are obviously on your mind. But then if writing about them helps, that's fine too.

You are as good a writer as anyone on here. Your writing is clear and well written and there's no reason for you to feel invalidated.

But for your own mental health, just trying to do whatever you feel you want to do to feel better, is 100% justified.

You can always come back to writing. I took a break from the ages of 21 to 36 - at which point I made it a full-time job. It worked out for me.
