Sorry for your struggles. I've written about Elle MacPherson's cancer - currently in a publishing queue, but from a perspective of how it's not been dissimilar to my husband's experiences. But hers was cut out. My husband's was so mild they don't plan to treat it. So in both cases, the cancer is potentially a non-issue. And I think that's the key difference between whether something might help.

You experienced aggressive serious, deadly cancer, that needed treating. She had precancerous cells that they cut out. Not the same thing. Just like my husbands, which is responding well to our lifestyle, is so mild, they weren't going to treat it. Again, not the same thing.

And what is important is to recognise the differences. They’ve even proposed to rename the type of cancer my husband has because it often doesn’t do anything. So to call it cancer is alarming, when it doesn’t pose the same threat.
