Some people have misunderstood. I am not saying insects are a vegan food.

The fact that we are vegan was incidental and I just thought it added something to the story because of the obvious conflict.

The meat is for meat eaters. I'm not saying insect meat is vegan. It isn't. My husband doesn't normally eat meat. He made an exception on this occasion.

The original title - Meat the Future - just didn't sound like it would capture people's curiosity in the same way. Because obviously, vegans wouldn't choose insect snacks ordinarily.
