So true! I think it’s the manufacturing process and the heating and travel, and everything that goes into production and distribution that is the issue - moreso than the plastic itself, but plastic as an oil-based product also requires huge heat to mould it into shape… so it’s just EVERYTHING. Using different materials would only resolve one part of the process. What we really need to do is stop consuming so much. But you’re so right too — we just don’t want it enough.
