So sorry to hear this Claudia. Yes, it has happened to me. Not with a publication, but a community member here and it was an article I'd written years before AI was even invented for a magazine, which I decided to republish on Medium.

It can be upsetting and this is why I feel we should be certain before we accuse people of things. I wrote about it recently and caused a ruckus.

I'm sorry you've had troubles. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on publications. I don't think they do a lot for views. I do publish through them, but this morning an editor rejected a piece, so I just placed it in my own publication. It had already received 12 comments from being published on my timeline anyway.
