Seems a bit odd to run things through a summary tool, when you could just skim - I mean that blindness story has two perspectives. People could read one, and skip the second. I guess they don't know that if they don't look because they're gone in 10 seconds.
Some writers have interpreted the changes as not paying for read time. Today I noticed read time is no longer on our stats - only the 30 seconds thing is. So is the only relevant read time, the 30 seconds, I wonder? That would mean there was little financial advantage in writing longer pieces. I've asked Buster, but he has over 1000 responses, so I'm not really expecting a reply.
