Problem is, doctors don't have time or inclination - or training - to help people change bad dietary habits and lack of exercise. Most people are resistant and would rather have drugs. If you want to improve your health by adopting a better lifestyle, you need to do it yourself, and just tell them. They can monitor your progress in another month if they want to.
