Oh, you've got me thinking about posting my snake pictures now! LOL Haha. They are really rare in the UK and not dangerous, so it's really exciting if we see one.

I spotted a grass snake which is completely harmless and utterly beautiful swimming in a pond in a public garden last year and he was just beautiful!

My husband had a fright when a few years ago, one came heading straight for him - but I think it was actually just heading for the seat we were sitting on - as a place to hide - on its way to the river.

He jumped up and terrified the poor thing. We got photos of it slithering away and trying to find a hiding place, poor thing.

That was the first time we'd seen one.
