Not sure what to say really. I mean, if people think these are good guys who've been swayed by the devil, I can see that, but it sounds more like not very good guys who are using the church as a cover for abuse. As you said, I don't really know enough to form an opinion, but it all sounds very murky and underhand.

Also, I suppose the guy who was apologising for unethical behaviour but denying abuse probably just has different definitions. I mean, some people would call pinching someone's bottom abuse, while others consider it harmless fun. There's a grey area, and I don't know what they've done. Some people call 'abuse' at the slightest thing, but my sense is, this is probably not that.
