No worries. I completely understand the Medium burnout thing. I'm feeling it a bit myself, and feel at a bit of a crossroads. I was going over an article this past weekend for the umptheenth time editing, revising, researching because an editor thought it had boost potential. And I'm grateful for their feedback. I really am.
But I've done this so many times recently and every single time the revised article gets rejected by the curators.
The only one that got accepted hadn't been changed from its original form at all! I'm thinking maybe there's nothing wrong with my original submission... I don't know.
Anyway, this past weekend, I was feeling like I'm spending more time pissing around with $1 medium stories than i spend on professional commissions worth £300.
It begs the question, "What the hell am I doing!"
Meanwhile, my 1 minute shortforms are out performing my long reads.
I'm starting to think I should ditch quality and just write fluff!
