Nice ending. It reminds me of a time when I was a kid and I was told I could only play with this kid from down the road if I was really careful. I MUST NOT hit her. Now I was not a violent child, but for some reason, I hit her - maybe it was a play punch or I was annoyed, but it was weird that I apparently couldn't control myself. Anyway, she had to go to hospital and I never saw her again.

I was a single digit age - she'd had surgery for cancer. I wish I hadn't done that either. I don't think I even knew why I'd hit her. It wouldn't have been hard. I wasn't like that. I don't do violence and never have. But for some reason, little kid me couldn't follow the instruction.
