Newsbreak sounds tempting, but apart from the nuisance of having to get a US phone number, I don't actually write much news. And I understand it's local stuff too - I don't suppose anyone cares what's happening where I'm located. Might've tried it though... if they removed phone number restrictions and let UK people write without jumping through hoops.
