My only regrets are that I wasn't allowed to start earlier - although to be honest, it's a heck of a lot easier with the internet than relying on paper print outs and slow post. I could have started earlier after I was married, but you know, regular pay, job security and mortgages kind of made the marketing jobs reasonably attractive - and they weren't bad. But people didn't appreciate my writing in those jobs. I think when I did start writing for a living it was definitely a good time. I had room to fail without it being a disaster. But at the same time, I would like to have discovered Medium before last year!
